Grants and loans are available to producers and rural small businesses to make energy efficiency improvements or to install a renewable energy system.

Examples:

Replace irrigation pumps with more efficient ones
Small business adding insulation, retrofitting lighting or improving heating or cooling systems
Installation of wind turbines
Installation of solar/wind remote stock pumps
Construction of a biodiesel production facility
Installation of an anaerobic digester in a feedlot
